It Must Have Been Love
In the winter morning, Gilang wakes up from his sleep and like the usual days, he wakes with the silent that surrounds his whole house. Gilang sees outside his window, hoping for a girl he loves will come and greet him like the usual morning. But what he sees is only snow that drops in his backyard. He closes his eyes and dream again.
“If only by dreaming I can meet and hug you, I choose not to be awaken from my sleep, and live the eternity with you” said Gilang who really sorry after he let his first love gone.
Gilang realize that the girl he loves had already gone with a man her mother arranges her marriage to. Her mother is in a big debt with a rich merchant, and she couldn’t pay it. As the replacement for the money, the merchant ask for her daughter to marry his son.
From the deep of Acha’s heart, she only loves one person, Gilang. They have been loved each other since Senior High, but was separated by distance and wealth. Acha had been a wife of a rich merchant and Gilang still lives with his simple life.
“This ring is the object for me to remember that we ever being together and since then you have been trapped in my mind. I can’t let you go and I still love you. If you really are my soul mate, we will meet once again in the first place we met. I will always waiting for you, that’s my promise” said Gilang who is really missing Acha.
This winter is the hardest winter for Gilang to pass. Not like the other winter which he pass with the warm of Acha’s hug. Now everything has changed. He has to face it alone. But he still believes that someday Acha will come again for him as his mate.
